About JZ Steakhouse Aventura
JZ Steakhouse Aventura is a Glatt kosher steakhouse on Biscayne Boulevard, just south of Aventura Mall. It is the second JZ Steakhouse, opened in December 2025 by the family behind the original JZ Steakhouse in Hollywood, Florida.
Our Story
JZ Steakhouse started in Hollywood, Florida. In December 2025 the same family opened a second restaurant on Biscayne Boulevard in Aventura, serving guests from Aventura, Sunny Isles Beach, Golden Beach, North Miami Beach and the rest of Miami-Dade.
The Aventura restaurant has a dining room with a full bar for cocktails and wine, a private dining room for celebrations, and free parking for guests.
What We Cook
Our menu brings two kosher traditions to one table. On one side is the steakhouse: a 12-ounce ribeye and rib steaks on the bone aged 21 days, from a 12-ounce ribeye to the 32-ounce JZ Steak, along with baby lamb chops, braised short ribs and a one-pound filet of fresh Bronzino. On the other is the Israeli and Middle Eastern table: twelve fresh, refillable house salads with laffa from the oven, hummus topped with mushrooms, beef or brisket, arayes, Moroccan cigars, Yemenite beef soup and skewers from the grill.
A lot of the menu is made in-house: the laffa, the hand-cut French fries and sweet potato fries, the braised brisket that goes into our tacos, cigars and hummus, and the soft buns for our lamb buns. Steaks and skewers come off the grill with a side of your choice. In all, the food menu has 109 dishes across 14 sections, including a kids menu and desserts. Behind the Bar
Dinner at JZ comes with a full bar. Our drinks menu runs to 151 drinks across 13 sections: cocktails, martinis, mojitos, margaritas, smoothies, beer, non-alcoholic, liquors, wine by the glass, sparkling, rosé, white wines and red wines. Guests who skip alcohol have smoothies and non-alcoholic drinks to choose from, and 16-ounce carafes of red and white sangria are there to share. See the drinks menu.
Kosher Without Asterisks
JZ Steakhouse Aventura is certified Glatt kosher and Pas Yisroel by the Orthodox Rabbinical Board of Broward and Palm Beach Counties (ORB). All food in the restaurant is considered meat (fleishig).
